Everything was awesome for Lyndsey & Dave Weller's wedding on October 1, 2016. Due to the rainy conditions, the ceremony was moved inside at the Out Door Country Club in York, PA instead of being outside on the patio. They just kept the doors open to showcase the beautiful grounds and bring the outside in. Dave's love of Legos could be seen throughout their wedding day...from the Lego Sand Ceremony to the surprise Lego Groom's Cake. The Bride, Groom & the Bridal party even braved the damp conditions outside to get some photos with their umbrellas in hand. Congratulations Lyndsey & Dave!

The day started out damp and drizzly for Nicole and Nate Burrell's wedding on September 24, 2016. Luckily, the sun powered through and dried up the rain before their ceremony at St. Paul the Apostle Church in Annville, PA. We captured the Bride and Groom's "Modified First Look", as they didn't want to see each other before the ceremony. The pop of purple and orange flower and dress colors brightened the rustic Zimmerman barn where the Reception was held. Of course we loved the Canvas guestbook offered in their wedding package featuring one of the Engagement session photos. Congrats Nate & Nicole!

We enjoyed working with Jess & John for their engagement session last fall and their wedding on Saturday, September 10, 2016. The ceremony time was carefully chosen to capture some sunset photos right after the ceremony. Although the sunset wasn't as vibrant as we hoped, we were able to capture some great low light images. Luckily the outdoor festivities were later in the day, as the temperatures soared to a record high 93 degrees that day. The heat didn't stop everyone from enjoying the ceremony and reception at their wedding venue, Gitt Memorial Library in Hanover, PA. Their small bridal party and including their boys into the wedding gave the day an intimate feel. We loved the unique and rustic items the bride put together for their decorations, especially the Globe Guestbook. The kids at the reception made an awesome "Just Married" sign out of the glowsticks they had from the reception. Congratulations Jess & John!

We've known Sweta & Wendell for several years after meeting them through our mutual love of Volkswagens. Of course, they had to tie this love into their wedding day. The groom dusted off the old girl (his car...not Sweta!) and brought her out for the wedding reception so we could get some photos. Their ceremony was the day before at the beautiful Breezyview Overlook Gazebo at Chickies Rock in Columbia, PA. It was a semi-private ceremony performed by their long time friend (and District Judge) "Old Man" Brian. The Bride's Indian heritage could be seen throughout. The Bridal party had traditional Mehndi designs applied (or Henna tattoos as they are commonly called) and the flower girl wore an Indian dress. The groom's interests also shined through with the Lego VW Bus and Lego Bride & Groom Cake toppers. The reception was held at the Holiday Inn, in Grantville, PA. The DJ was able to find some traditional Indian songs and the Bride's Mom & Dad showed everyone how to do their specific dance moves. The afterparty went well into the next morning at the Winners Circle Salon - the hotel's bar. We wish Sweta & Wendell many years of happiness!

We had a hot but beautiful day for Amy & Matt's wedding on Saturday, August 6, 2016. This sweet couple met while working their summer jobs at the Sweetest Place on Earth, Hershey Park. We loved their incorporation of that memory into their reception with the Candy Bar - it was quite a hit! We also loved their unique Superhero wedding cake topper.
They had a lovely ceremony at the stunning Saint Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church in Harrisburg PA. We had been watching the weather closely all day and the pop-up thunderstorm hit at the perfect time: Right after the bubbles send off and right before the indoor family photos. We traveled to the Harrisburg State Capital Building to capture some outdoor photos, and later in the evening went out to the Military Tank on the grounds adjacent to the Reception venue, The Susquehanna Club. The Bride & Groom danced the night away, we even caught them behind the DJ Booth! They ended their evening with a surprise take-off by one of the planes at the airport next to reception venue and a Sparkler Send-off. Congrats to Amy & Matt!

Just as the Bride's mother had prayed for, we had absolutely perfect weather for Paula & Nathan's wedding on July 2, 2016 at the CrossPoint Church in Harrisburg, PA. Tim spent the morning at Adventure Sports in Hershey, PA with Nathan and the guys while they sped around the racetrack. Nathan ended up with wet feet instead of cold feet from the bumper boats! Jen spent the morning with Paula and the girls while they relaxed, chatted and got their hair & make-up done in the huge Bridal Suite at Harmony Hall in Middletown, PA.
Paula & Nathan had many different items that made their wedding day unique to them. From the Sand Ceremony with the Mom's, the butterfly decorations, and the Ice Cream Bar, everything about the day was special to them. The beautiful grounds at Harmony Hall are a photographer's dream. The old Farm House, Waterfall and the stone ruins gave us more than plenty options for outside photos.
We loved spending the day with them capturing all the moments and we even snagged a few photos at sunset!

It was a rainy Saturday for Eric and Chenell's Wedding on May 21, 2016 at the Susquehanna Club, but that didn't stop everyone from having a great time! We loved their DIY photobooth and the unique guest book canvas. Chenell and her Dad even surprised everyone with a special ending to the Father/Daughter dance!

We have known Cody and Allie for several years. Tim and Cody worked together at a previous job and had kept in touch over the years. When Cody and Allie got engaged, they knew they wanted us as their wedding photographers. We couldn't have been more excited to spend the day with this delightful couple.
They had a few simple requests: they wanted photos with their German Shepherd, Grizzly and they wanted a Sparkler send off. Surprisingly, the photos with Grizzly was the easier of the two requests. The day started off with beautiful June weather - not to hot and just enough clouds to keep the harsh glares and shadows at bay. Then Mother Nature decided to stop cooperating with us. We were just wrapping up the Bride & Groom photo session after the ceremony when the raindrops started...and then the sky opened up in to a full out Thunderstorm.
Luckily, the reception was inside at The Park Inn in Mechanicsburg, PA, so we didn't have to worry about the rain too much...until the end of the evening. Allie had her heart set on a Sparkler send off. After some negotiating with the Event Coordinator, we finally got her to agree to let them do the Sparkler send off under the Valet/Carport area in the front of the hotel. We helped everyone get their Sparkler and lighter and crowded them under the Carport. The rain was still coming down in sheets - complete with Thunder and Lightning. Amazingly, it went off without a hitch - just like we hope the rest of their married life goes. Congratulations Cody & Allie!
